San Francisco artist, Annie Yu, led a gaggle of goslings in a fun craft program on Saturday. Artists created wallets made of Duct Tape and the Library Staff stuffed them with $100 dollar bills. (Can we have a little fact-checking on that one, please?)
No… everyone gained a wealth of experience from the workshop. Eric related a new use for the ubiquitous silver tape in your kitchen drawer: staunching a wound. Soldiers in Afghanistan/Iraq have used it for that purpose. The authoritative Wikipedia weighs in: “As a quick fix, duct tape can be used as a temporary bandage, until proper medical treatment and bandages can be applied to a wound.”
Though the word, “Duct” might lead one to believe it is used in Heating and Cooling, Wikipedia tells us, ” Duct tape is NOT used for sealing ductwork.
