This Sunday, October 28 at 2 p.m., will be the grand finale of the Albany Reads: The Samurai’s Garden. Bestselling author Gail Tsukiyama will read and discuss her book.
Ms. Tsukiyama was born in San Francisco to a Chinese mother from Hong Kong and a Japanese father from Hawaii. Her other novels include Women of the Silk, Night of Many Dreams, The Language of Threads, and Dreaming Water. Her most recent book, The Street of a Thousand Blossoms, is currently on the San Francisco Chronicle Bestseller list. Copies of her book will be available for purchase and signing.
The program will take place in the large room of the Albany Community Center at 1249 Marin. This program is co-sponsored by the Friends of the Albany Library, the City of Albany, the Albany YMCA, the Albany Unified School District and the Albany Library.
